HD DVD (short for High-Definition/Density DVD) is a discontinued high-density optical disc format for storing data and high-definition video. Supported principally by Toshiba, HD DVD was envisioned to be the successor to the standard DVD format. However, in February 2008, after a protracted high definition optical disc format war with rival Blu-ray, Toshiba abandoned the format, announcing it would no longer develop or manufacture HD DVD players or drives. However, the HD DVD physical disk specifications (but not the codecs) are still in use as the basis for the CBHD (China Blue High-Definition Disc) formerly called CH-DVD. The HD DVD Promotion Group was dissolved on March 28, 2008.

Television (TV): The etymology of the word reveals it is derived from mixed Latin and Greek origin, meaning "far sight": Greek tele (τῆλε), far, and Latin visio, sight (from video, vis- to see, or to view in the first person). Now it refers to a telecommunication medium for transmitting and receiving moving images that can be monochromatic (shades of grey) or multicolored. Images are usually accompanied by sound. "Television" may also refer specifically to a television set, television programming, television transmission.

Commercially available since the late 1920s, the television set has become commonplace in homes, businesses and institutions, particularly as a source of entertainment and news. Since the 1970s the availability of video cassettes, laserdiscs, DVDs and now Blu-ray Discs, have resulted in the television set frequently being used for viewing recorded as well as broadcast material. In recent years Internet television has seen the rise of television available via the Internet, e.g. iPlayer and Hulu.

Although other forms such as closed-circuit television (CCTV) are in use, the most common usage of the medium is for broadcast television, which was modeled on the existing radio broadcasting systems developed in the 1920s, and uses high-powered radio-frequency transmitters to broadcast the television signal to individual TV receivers.

Digital photography is a form of photography that uses an array of light sensitive sensors to capture the image focused by the lens, as opposed to an exposure on light sensitive film. The captured image is then stored as a digital file ready for digital processing (colour correction, sizing, cropping, etc.), viewing or printing.

Until the advent of such technology, photographs were made by exposing light sensitive photographic film and used chemical photographic processing to develop and stabilize the image. By contrast, digital photographs can be displayed, printed, stored, manipulated, transmitted, and archived using digital and computer techniques, without chemical processing.

Digital photography is one of several forms of digital imaging. Digital images are also created by non-photographic equipment such as computer tomography scanners and radio telescopes. Digital images can also be made by scanning conventional photographic images.

Home cinema, also commonly called home theater, are home entertainment set-ups that seek to reproduce the movie theater going experience and mood with the help of video and audio equipment in a private home.

In the 1950s, playing home movies became popular in the United States with Kodak 8 mm film projector equipment becoming affordable. The development of multi-channel audio systems and later LaserDisc in the 1980s created a new paradigm for home cinema. In the early to mid 1990s, a typical home cinema in the United States would have a LaserDisc or VHS player fed to a large rear-projection television. Beginning In the late 1990s,and continuing through out much of the 2000s home theater technology progressed with the development of the DVD-Video format, Dolby Digital 5.1-channel audio ("surround sound") speaker systems, and high-definition television. In the 2010s 3D television technology and Blu-ray Disc have ushered in a new era of home theater once again.

In the 2000s, the term "home cinema" encompasses a range of systems meant for movie playback at home. The most basic and economical system could be a DVD player, a Standard Definition large-screen television with at least a 27" diagonal screen size, and a "home theater in a box" surround sound speaker system with a subwoofer. While a more expensive home cinema set-up might include a Blu-ray Disc player or media center appliance/computer with a 10-foot user interface, a High Definition video projector and projection screen with a 100+" Diagonal Screen size "and a several thousand-watt home theater receiver with five to seven surround sound speakers plus a powerful subwoofer. The most advanced systems are 3D TV enabled home theaters making use of 3D TV sets/projectors and Blu-ray 3D players which use special glasses to aid viewers in seeing 3D movies and sporting events.Home theater means different things to different people. Home theater designs and layouts are personal choices and the only known minimum set of requirements for a home theater are: A television set or video projector CRT(no new models sold in U.S.), LCD, DLP , Plasma display, organic light-emitting diode (OLED), SXRD, Laser TV, rear-projection TV, video projector, etc. (SDTV, HDTV, or 3DTV) at least 27" inches measured diagonally, an AV receiver or preamp (surround processor) and amplifier combination capable of at least stereo sound but preferably 5.1 Channel Dolby Digital and DTS audio,and something that plays or broadcast movies in at least stereo sound such as a VHS HI-FI VCR or LaserDisc Player (no new stand-alone models of ether are available. VHS vcr's are usually bundled in combo decks with DVD players) , a DVD player and/or a Blu-ray Disc Player, cable or satellite receiver, video game console, etc. Finally a set of speakers at least two are needed but more common are anywhere from six to eight with a subwoofer for bass or low frequency effects.

1. posisi terbaik
    telat sedikit diajak foto, bakal kmu tdak kebagian posisi strategis untuk difoto. posisi berdiri bakal penuh, setengah berdiri juga, duduk pun begitu. eitss, tenang...masih ada posisi terdepan yang bisa dipakai untuk berpose kayak putri duyung diatas batu, kok. posisi itu bakal bikin kmu tetap jadi yang terlihat difoto, tanpa membuat tman2 dibelakang mengamuk karena ketutupan. uups posisi ini sangat dianjurkan untuk kamu yang memiliki tubuh yang kurang tinggi, he..he..he.
2. Berani unik
    ini sebenarnya cara paling gampang agar kmu terlihat eye-catching saat difoto. pamerkanlah pose-pose yang unik dan jarang dipakai orang seperti gaya pohon atau gaya2 superhero, seperti gaya terbang superman dan lainnya, yang terpenting buang jauh2 segala rasa malu untuk berpose seperti itu, karena sekali ingat, prom itu cma terjadi sekali seumur hidup,lohh
3. Beda pose
    memberi senyum termanis dan pose ala model sih sdah biasa banget dan bakal bikin kamu beda dalam foto. misalnya , ada tman yang mengkomando untuk berpose manis, sebaliknya kamu pasang wajah jelek. atw klw ada tman yang blang jangan melihat ke kamera, jadilah satu-satunya orang yang menatap ke kamera. pose tersebut pasti bikin kamu paling menonjol didalam foto.
4. Angle yang tepat
    berpose gila-gilaan boleh saja, tapi angle-nya jga harus tepat, dong. jangan sampai wajah dan bentuk tubuh kamu terlihat nggak asyik saat difoto cuma karena salah angle. klw blom tw angle yang cocok, nggak ada salahnya kamu foto-foto dulu dirumah sampai menemukan angle yang paaass banget. trus latihan-nya juga sambil mencoba berbagai pose yang mw dipamerkan saat prom nanti.

The tablet computer and the associated special operating software is an example of pen computing technology, and thus the development of tablets has deep historical roots. The depth of these roots can be quite surprising to people who are only familiar with current commercial products. For example, the first patent for an electronic tablet used for handwriting was granted in 1888. The first patent for a system that recognized handwritten characters by analyzing the handwriting motion was granted in 1915.The first publicly-demonstrated system using a tablet and handwriting text recognition instead of a keyboard for working with a modern digital computer dates to 1956.

In addition to many academic and research systems, there were several companies with commercial products in the 1980s: Pencept, Communications Intelligence Corporation, and Linus were among the best known of a crowded field. Later, GO Corp. brought out the PenPoint OS operating system for a tablet product: one of the patents from GO corporation was the subject of recent infringement lawsuit concerning the Tablet PC operating system.

One early implementation of a Linux tablet was the ProGear by FrontPath. The ProGear used a Transmeta chip and a resistive digitizer. The ProGear initially came with a version of Slackware Linux, but could later be bought with Windows 98.

In 2000 Microsoft coined the term "Microsoft tablet PC" for tablet PCs built to Microsoft's specification, and running a licensed specific tablet enhanced version of its Microsoft Windows OS.

Microsoft Tablet PCs were targeted to address business needs mainly as note-taking devices, and as rugged devices for field work.Tablet PCs failed to gain popularity in the consumer space because of unresolved usability problems. The existing devices were too heavy to be held with one hand on extended periods, having legacy applications created for desktop interfaces made them not well adapted to the slate format, and the specific software features designed to support usage as a tablet were not present in all contexts.

Hakikat Pemerintah dan Pemerintahan

1.      Pendekatan Dari Segi Bahasa

“Memerintah” diartikan sebagai menguasai atau mengurus negara atau daerah sebagai bagian dari negara. Dengan demikian maka kata “pemerintah” berarti kekuasaan untuk memerintah suatu negara, misalnya negara memerlukan pemerintah yang kuat dan bijaksana. “pemerintah” dapat pula diartikan sebagai badan tertinggi yang memerintah suatu negara, misalnya kalimat; masyarakat meminta perhatian pemerintah agar turun tangan dalam pemecahan kekurangan air untuk sawah-sawah di suatu wilayah. Di dalam kalimat “gedung pemerintah”, “sekolah pemerintah”, artinya gedung negara dan sekolah negeri.

“Pemerintah” adalah perbuatan atau cara atau urusan memerintah, misalnya pemerintah yang adil, pemerintah demokratis, pemerintah diktator.

2.      Pendekatan dari Segi Organisasi

Dalam pembicaraan tentang pemerintah dan pemerintahan tidak boleh terlepaskan dari pembahasan tentang negara, karena negaralah yang merupakan wadah, lembaga, organisasi tempat berlangsungnya tugas pemerintahan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah. Pemerintah dan negara bagaikan sekeping mata uang, karena tidak mungkin bisa memahami secara nyata hakikatnya tanpa mengulas keduanya; di mana negara merupakan segi statisnya dan pemerintahan adalah segi dinamisnya.

Sistem Pemerintahan Negara

Sistem pemerintahan merupakan sistem penyelenggaraan pemerintahan suatu negara, yang didasarkan pada ajaran filosofis yang dianut negara yang bersangkutan.

Dari teori-teori sistem pemerintahan yang beraneka ragam, dapat disimpulkan enam macam sistem pemerintahan yaitu:

1.      ekapraja,

2.      dwipraja,

3.      tripraja,

4.      catur praja,

5.      pancapraja, dan

6.      sadpraja.

Sistem Pemerintahan Negara Indonesia

Republik Indonesia yang termuat dalam Penjelasan Undang-Undang Dasar 1945, yaitu secara filosofis dikemukakan sebagai berikut.

1.      Indonesia adalah negara yang berdasarkan atas hukum

2.      Sistem konstitusional.

3.      Kekuasaan negara yang tertinggi di tangan MPR

4.      Presiden adalah penyelenggara pemerintahan negara tertinggi di bawah majelis.

5.      Presiden tidak bertanggung jawab kepada DPR.

6.      Menteri negara adalah pembantu presiden, dan tidak bertanggung jawab kepada DPR

7.      Kekuasaan kepala negara tidak tak terbatas.
